We invite you to an informal lecture and hands-on demonstration of simple home care remedies for the winter season.
We will discuss the importance of rest, warmth and cleansing as well as the therapeutic role of fever and inflammation. Participants will be shown how to use simple home remedies along with anthroposophic medicines. Handouts, remedy kits, home-care supplies, books and other resources will be available for reference.

Carmen Hering, DO
Dr. Hering is board-certified in Osteopathic and Anthroposophic Medicine and has been in private practice for 10 years. She treats infants, children and adults using hands-on osteopathy and anthroposophic remedies in addition to conventional medicine when needed. Dr. Hering trains medical students and physicians and serves as faculty at the International Physician Medical Training program for Anthroposophic Medicine in the US and at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Tiffany Baer, MD
Dr. Baer is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Holistic Medicine. In 2013, she completed a five-year medical training program in Anthroposophic Medicine, which she incorporates in private clinics while continuing to practice Occupational Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Baer strives to treat acute and chronic illness naturally, using diet, remedies, and lifestyle changes to complement a Western medical approach.
Teresa Ferrari, RN
Teresa Ferrari became a Registered Nurse at University of San Francisco in 1980 and went on to work in cardiac care. She later became a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher and spent many years working with children, parents and educators. She recently completed her anthroposophic nursing and rhythmical massage training in 2015 and is happy to bring this rare specialty training to doctors and patients in the San Francisco Bay Area.
